Parents should bring their completed order form and turn it in at the check-in table when they arrive.
We ask each league to provide a clean ball or bat for photo use. Players are also welcome to bring their own equipment if they prefer.
We demonstrate athletes how to pose for both their individual and team photos, but we never dictate. If you have a specific pose in mind, please let your photographer know on picture day.
If your athlete misses picture day, please check with your league to see if a makeup day is available.
We can also accommodate adding your athlete to the team photo using our insertion service, where we digitally place them into the original team photo for an additional fee. Please ask your photographer for more details on makeup day.
Inclusions may differ depending on your league. For details about your basic package, please reach out to your league directly.
Your photos will be processed in the lab and delivered to your league for distribution within 3 weeks after picture day. Please contact your league directly if you have any questions about receiving your photos.
If you still have any concerns, please contact our customer service team for support. We’re here to help with missing orders or any discrepancies after your league has distributed picture day orders.
Absolutely! You can order additional picture packages and personalized items from Picture Day by visiting our reorder website. At checkout, please enter the sequence number printed on the back of the photo for the items you wish to reorder.
At Golden State Sports Photography, we prioritize your child’s privacy. Photos are never linked to personal information on public sites. We operate offline, collect only what’s needed for orders, and deliver digital images through secure, password-protected galleries. Each image has a unique sequence number and is not saved with identifying names. Downloads are available for 30 days or removed sooner upon request. Your information is never sold or shared, and physical forms are securely handled once no longer needed.
We offer leagues two different picture day programs:
1. League Buy Program: The league uses registration funds to provide each player with a standard picture package. Parents also have the option to purchase additional packages on picture day. The standard league buy package for players include:
For other accommodations, please contact us directly to arrange a custom league package
2. Parent Pay Program: Parents are solely responsible for ordering picture packages on picture day.
Please contact us directly for a quote or more details about these programs. Pricing is based on number of players and teams of your league.
If you’re not happy with the natural background at your Picture Day location, whether indoor or outdoor, we offer digital backgrounds for both individual and team photos! If you’re interested, please coordinate with our team for more details.
Our Picture Day staffing is tailored to the size of your league and the schedule of the day.
Our team always does its best to meet the needs outlined in our Picture Day partnership agreement. We also work closely with league coordinators to make sure check-in, line flow, and photo setups are efficient, so players and families have a seamless and enjoyable experience.
A. Outdoors: A lot goes in to picking a location and there are certain rules to follow. We can’t take photos straight in to the sun. Parents want photos of their children, not a new shiny scoreboard or sign on a building. Avoid locations with a lot of foot traffic or cars in the background if possible. Trees, sky and natural landscapes make the best backgrounds!
B. Indoors: Gyms, Community Centers, and school cafeterias are usual locations for picture days done in doors. Just make sure that the rooms are large enough to pose a team photo and that the photographer can stand back at least 20 feet. Crowd control is important with indoor locations to cut down noise and insure teams can be processed efficiently so it is very helpful if officials from your league can help with that aspect of picture day.
We don’t want to rush families and we always prefer longer more relaxed schedules where possible. We highly recommend giving each team a unique time! So rather than 3 teams every 30 minutes you can schedule 1 team every 10 minutes which creates a flow rather than a rush with downtime at the end of the rush.
Example of each team having a unique time:
You might also choose to put in an open period once in a while. For example
TAKE AS MUCH TIME AS POSSIBLE: We are in no hurry, parents don’t like to have their athletes rushed, and nobody likes crowds. For example , if you have 200 athletes to photograph there is no reason to try to do that in 3 hours if you can schedule it over 6 hours. We love RELAXED picture days! Nobody ever complains “Picture Day was too relaxed!”
We offer electronic versions that can be emailed to parents, but not all families can print forms at home or access a website. Paper forms remain widely used, easy to understand, and the simplest option for many families, so we ask leagues to distribute them at least one week before picture day. To allow ample time for distribution, we provide leagues with the order forms at least a month in advance.
